Bypass shield (bypass) is designed to increase the reliability of uninterruptible power supply system by power supply changeover from the power source to the bypass line for the time of maintenance or replacement of the source.

This mechanism consists of two main parts - an electronic bypass (static) and mechanical (manual) bypass. Such mechatronic design allows transferring the load from inverter of UPS to bypass and vice versa without changing the nature of the stress. The bypass is a link between the input and the output of the UPS, and allows this connection bypassing power redundancy mechanism.

Application area

It is used in uninterruptible power supply systems of buildings, manufacturing plants, offices, construction sites, in the housing sector.

Switching on and off of the uninterruptible power supply to make repairs without interrupting the power supply to receivers;

- In the event of a short circuits or overloads in the inverter, the load can be transferred from the inverter to the bypass;

- If the power quality in the network is normal, the load can be transferred from inverter to bypass to save the power.

- Phase currents and neutral lines, average and maximum values ​​over a selected period*;

- Phase and line voltage, average and maximum values ​​over a selected period*;

- Frequency, average and maximum values ​​over a selected period*;

- Active Power*;

- Reactive power*;

- Total power and power per phase*;

- Power factor of each phase and the total power factor with the indication of type of load*.
