Description
Bypass shield is designed to increase the reliability of uninterruptible power supply system due to the power supply changeover from the power source to the bypass line for the time of maintenance or replacement of the source.
This mechanism consists of two main parts - an electronic bypass (static) and mechanical (manual) bypass. Such mechatronic design allows transferring the load from inverter of UPS to bypass and vice versa without changing the nature of the stress. Bypass is a link between the input and the output of the UPS, and allows this connection bypassing power redundancy mechanism.
Application area
It is used in uninterruptible power supply systems of buildings, manufacturing plants, offices, construction sites, in the housing sector.
